FAQs

Common questions from buyers.

What does it cost to register interest?

Registering interest is free. There's no commitment — you join our mailing list for the estate, and our team contacts you with new releases and pricing.

How big are the lots?

Lot sizes vary across estates. Most Sala estates offer a range from 320 sqm to over 1,000 sqm. Check each estate page for specifics.

Can I bring my own builder?

Yes. Most estates allow buyers to bring their own builder, subject to design covenants. We also have builder partner programs in select estates for streamlined house-and-land packages.

How long between contract and settlement?

Typically 30 days for registered land, or 21 days from registration if the lot is contracted off-the-plan. Your contract will specify exact timing.

Is finance assistance available?

Sala doesn't provide finance directly, but we work with experienced mortgage brokers who can help you understand your borrowing capacity and pre-approval options.

What deposit do I need?

Most estates require a 10% deposit on contract signing. Some stages may offer a 5% deposit option — ask the on-site sales team for specifics.

Are there design covenants?

Yes, every Sala-marketed estate has a design code to protect community quality and your future property value. We'll walk you through the requirements at contract.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered land?

Registered land has council and title approvals complete — you can settle and start building. Unregistered land is sold off-the-plan and settles once registration is finalised.
